Briefly Enjoying the Backyard

For most of the day, Liz and I were inside – both on our respective rooms, working on our projects.

Outside, the weather was phenomenal. Perfect sky, perfect temperature. We went out around 2:30 PM to start the sprinkler in the backyard, but after that – we went back in.

I went back outside a few times (readjusting the sprinkler), and each time it just felt great to be outdoors.

Around 5:30 PM, Liz and I went out back and just sat. She brought some of her sewing to do, and I brought a beer (I was cheaing on my diet again). We hung out and just enjoyed being in our backyard, watching the sprinkler slowly do its thing.
