DC Vacation, Day 1: Travel Day and a Late Dinner at Society Fair

On arriving at our hotel in Alexandria, Liz and I walked down King Street to a place called Society Fair. Though we got in late (around 9:40), we had a lovely dinner and a few glasses of wine.

The market section was closed by the time we left, but we made a note to swing back here later.

Big Ass Chocolate Cake

On our way out (around 10:30PM), we spotted someone still working in the bakery… cleaning after the day, preparing for the next.

Back home.
