Basement Painting: Near the End

Today, Liz and I went down to the basement for a few hours to tackle the last remaining portion (in the main basement area). We’re close to finishing up all the paint work, and are making a push over this weekend to get done.

Signs of our original patch job, covering areas where the parch coat was coming off. Our paint (a masonry waterproofer) will provide added protection against moisture).

Liz, stirring things up.

An “after” photo.

And we also got a half of the back basement area painted.

Tomorrow, we’ll be back down here to apply a second coat to both areas. And to also paint the SE walls (the area where Liz had housed her basement plants).
