When checking in on Liz tonight, I found her surrounded by yarn. More than that, she had her head down writing things down in her notebook and constantly going back over to her phone.

I got a closer look at her notes, which involve her refactoring a pattern’s numbers/measurements to fit her own. I glanced briefly at things, but then decided to back away.

I was reminded of the time I peeked in on her statistics homework, back when she was studying for her Master’s of Science in Applied Statistics degree.

Even when she’s playing, she seems hard at work.
