Going To and From

Part of my new commute, on the way in to work this morning.

Walking down an alley, on my way home.

This week has been an interesting one, in that by tomorrow… I’ll have been working in three different offices within the span of four days. Now that I’m back in Chicago, I have a different commute than the one I’ve had for the last five years.

In a lot of ways, I’m fighting muscle memory at times. And doing more hopping around, transportation-wise, from Metra to CTA to walking. While I feel like I’ve gotten the mechanics of getting from A to B down, there’s a lot of room to tinker yet – bus versus Blue Line, maybe a bus all the way to Hyde Park, maybe a Divvy bike?

Figuring out and landing on a routine requires… a lot of variations.
