A Long Distance Phone Call

It’s a little hard to see in this photo, but it made me giggle when I was watching it from my seat. Taken during a Metra train ride in to the city.

The conductor was on the phone/intercom, but was near the door (and possibly outside)… with the phone stretched taunt, all across the width of the train.

I couldn’t quite see him, but in my mind I pictured him leaning dangerously out of the train car, his full weight held up by the phone line.
