A Day at the House

On Sunday, Bob and Julie came over to the house to spend the day with us. I helped Bob as he worked on creating a new portion of our basement ledge, and Liz and Julie were working on some sewing projects.

We started the day off with breakfast at Medici’s (a favorite of Bob’s). And had a nice walk to/from 57th street.

Back home, Bob and I spent some time in the basement. He measured up the existing ledge, and we talked at length about how to lay out the new lights and cross-braces we purchased.

I don’t have a lot of photos from the day, but I do have this one – of some Smithwick’s they brought over. Which Bob and I may have opened up a little early in the day.
