Purple Brussels Sprouts

I was shopping at Hyde Park Produce, and happened to see a sign for Purple Brussels Sprouts! I’d never encountered them before, and the mere thought of them was super intriguing.

They look a little small, but fascinating nonetheless. Sadly, I didn’t pick any up… but I’m seriously considering making the most oddly colored meal possible, with these as a new possibility.

Thinking these would pair well with some blue mashed potatoes. I wonder what other shocking (yet natural) colors exist, for fruits/vegetables?
