Scary Pockets: Faith
I came across Scary Pockets recently, and have been listening to a lot of their covers. As I understand it, the group seems to be comprised of a lot of members of Postmodern Jukebox. I don’t quie know names, but recognize several faces.
While there are several songs of theirs I liked, I’m posting up their cover of “Faith” by George Michael. The beginning is fine, but where the song got me was right at 0:24.
The group has a large collection of videos posted on YouTube, and it’s worth checking out. I’m not sure what I love more – listening to the covers or watching the bassist and piano player really getting into each song.
