Adding a Little Shine

Liz continued work on the basement treads tonight, applying a first round of varnish. Since she’s the one with most of the staining/refinishing experience… I didn’t really have anything I could do to help. So I ended up taking on some of the outside/garden duties, and watered the back garden boxes, and all the plants along the fence and in the front yard.

It was really lovely to watch these steps light up. A few more coats and I think they’ll be ready to be installed. Can’t wait!
