Brunch with Michelle, Mike, and Fritz

Last weekend, Liz and I met up with Michelle, Mike, and Fritz for an early morning brunch in the suburbs.

Despite a fun detour due to some odd directions from Google Maps (we ended up outside a nearby park), all of us got together at Stray Hen Cafe in Elmhurst.

We had some trouble with our seating (we got moved to three different tables, and finally landed in a good spot on our fourth try). But the food was great, and we all got to catch up a bit over breakfast and coffee.

A highlight: Liz and I got some one on one time with baby Fritz. Who was more interested in his giraffe binky, but we’re not holding that against him.
