Whitehall Lakehouse, Day 4

Short day today, as we left in mid-afternoon to head back to Chicago. But we did spent a little more time on the lake in the morning, and just lounged around under the sun.

A scene from the battle of the siblings, taken to mostly commemorate a minor skirmish. Isabelle had gotten on the float, and then Jackson had tried to use the other float to bop her into the water. His float got away from him, and he was unsuccessful in retrieving it with a paddle.

Isabelle remained safely in the distance.

Of particular delight for Liz, there was a small pond at the house – complete with a ton of frogs. I think the most she counted in one sitting was 9 different frogs.
