Daisy and Phineas Get Into the Groceries

On my way home from work today, I stopped off at the nearby Whole Foods to pick up some supplies. With the big snow we’re supposedly getting tomorrow, I figured it would be best to stock up before things got too bad outside.

On the grocery list was one apple – which we needed for a recipe. As I was putting it in my cart, I thought how tasty it sounded (and how long it had been since I had an apple), so I picked up two.

When I got home, the bunnies were out and about. I set my bags down, and they immediately got curious. I didn’t think much of it, even when Daisy started to rip the bag a little bit.

At the store, I was given double bags – so I just figured the bunnies were tearing away the outer layer. Little did I know…

They actually got through both layers! I thought they were after the veggies inside, but apparently they were going for the apple!

And they got to it!

Lucky for me, I picked up two. After cleaning this guy up a little (and giving the bunnies a slice as a snack), I did finally get to have my apple. Or more specifically, my 3/4 of an apple.
