Patching the Back Furnace Wall
After work today, Liz and I worked a bit in the basement.
It’s a last little area that needs some drywall. And ultimately won’t be seen all that much, since the furnace will be right in front of it.
As we were dry-fitting the first time, it seemed like the drywall was just a little too snug. But with an extra bit of effort, Liz pushed it up into place, and it fit perfectly.
There was a very loud “ha HA” from her, and this photo captures her elation. And what I described as “a haughty laugh.” Got it on the first try.
Liz, practicing a little mudding and taping.
