Workday Demo: Monday
Despite it being a Monday, Liz and I wanted to keep to our house schedule this week. That means suiting up after work, and putting in two hours or so of demo.
This was really challenging, especially coming off a weekend where all we did was demo. But we are wanting to get the first floor in shape. So we’re driven.
On top of all this, the bunnies are staying over with Liz Rench while we undertake all this work. So the more we can get done, the faster we can prep the rooms, and the faster we can set up an environment where they can come back home.
So yeah. We’re pushing to get a lot done.
With a lot of the plaster gone from the living room, we turned our eyes towards the main foyer (which we refer to as the “hall”). Got a lot of trim removed, so that we could start to take down these guys.
Working towards the vestibule.
Liz discovered some wallpaper that had been covered over. I think this might be the best, most preserved example of any wallpaper we’ve seen in the house so far.
Working on lathe removal, between the vestibule and the living room.
