Winterizing the Kitchen, North Wall

With another round of clean water, Liz takes on cleaning two grates at a time.

We had a lot of drywall and plywood, which had been stored in the kitchen while we got our first floor installed. Moved all this out so I could actually get to the wall itself.

Access.

The bottom of the wall is really bad, due to the fact that there’s literally no wall near the bottom.

With the work done on the exterior, the only thing between us and the outside is a small bit of insulation.

For now: a bit of Visqueen over the walls, to keep the cold at bay.

These walls will eventually get removed, but the plan is to throw some drywall here to weather us through the winter. And to improve the insulation from the other side.
