Dreaming of Spring

I had a taste for Bang Bang Pie this weekend. So in addition to picking up a pie for our Valentine’s Day weekend, I also got a few things for breakfast. And came all the way up to the North Side on a Saturday morning to pick it up.

I ended up joining a few other folks standing around in the garden area. I was initially unsure what to do (whether I should try to go inside or not), and was told to just wait and someone would come out.

I have to tell you – I’ve been staying inside for so long, I barely even know how Covid Restaurant Pickup even works.

While standing around, I spotted this note on the wall. For a moment, it felt nice imagining what it might be like standing here in the Spring. With no snow. And no cold.

Probably still masks though. Maybe that’s a dream for next year.
