A Rainbow Across Chicago
The sky started to get a really odd color, and there was a storm supposedly headed our way. But instead of the big downpour of rain I was expecting, I looked outside to see this enormous rainbow filling the sky.
It’s very rare to see rainbows near us, I feel. Though we did catch one last year.
This one though was so large, it really was striking. I ended up texting my neighbors to tell them to look out back. The rainbow dissipated pretty quickly, but a few folks in the building next door were able to catch it.
While I love the fact that we saw this down in Hyde Park, it was even more fun to see a ton of photos on Instagram from other people in other parts of Chicago.
Made me feel like we were all looking at the same thing.
