Just Eat Takeaway

About a year ago, there were plans for Grubhub (my employer) to be acquired by Amsterdam-based Just Eat Takeaway.

Those plans were finalized a few days ago, and it’s now official: I guess I technically work for JET.

It’s been a very interesting 18 months, looking at the world through the lens of a job that specializes in delivering food to people’s homes. It will be interesting to see what the next 18 months will bring, now that we are part of a more international organization.

I still haven’t visited our Grubhub offices in New York. And now I get to add to that list, to go back and visit our offices in Amsterdam.
