A Return to Lula Cafe
While we’ve been out and about a bit more lately, we’ve still not eaten out at a restaurant (at least in Chicago).
Liz and I decided to use a rainy Sunday as our excuse to trek up to Logan Square, and to have breakfast at one of our old favorite spots: Lula Cafe.
Under the awning outside, waiting in line to get in.
I’m not sure when this happened. Maybe it’s been like this even before the lockdown, but I’m now seeing QR codes in lieu of menus pretty much everywhere.
My breakfast date!
A quick view of the interior. There’s another room (one we tend to get seated in), but I didn’t wander around for a photo.
Breakfast was lovely. Felt a little weird. Felt a little normal.
