The Bee and the Cart
Happened across a fun Twitter thread, talking about the video game Skyrim and the challenges of video game development.
The game begins with a cart sequence, where your character is heading into a town to be executed (along with a few other criminals). If you haven’t played the game before, here’s what the intro is like:
The thread on Twitter is about game development, but I think it easily extends to software development (particularly when you’re talking about multiple apps and services, all talking with one another). Silly and fun.
Another interesting thread (same folks, same game) is about an odd bug where foxes in Skyrim always seem to lead to treasure. But no one could understand why.
Ah, software development. Perpetual job security.
