Metric: Help I’m Alive

Lately, I’ve revisited the album Fantasies by Metric. I haven’t listened to them in a long while, and I’ve been putting this album on a kind of loop lately.

I know they’re a band that’s been around a while, but this is really the only album I know of theirs. Note to self: explore more of their music.

I go back to thinking that there’s a specific tempo that I gravitate towards, and perhaps many of the songs on this album fall in that window for me.

I’ll rediscover old songs from time to time, but it’s a novelty to rediscover a whole album (and like enough songs on it to put the whole thing on repeat).
