Vintage Kitchen Door Restoration Begins
Having finished up her hall window work, Liz has started tackling the restoration work on the vintage door we picked up, earlier this year.
This will eventually replace our back Kitchen door, and the hope is we can get it in before the cold sets in. We’ll see how that times out.

The interior side of the door, face up. Liz needed this side up first, to help with removing all the small (and numerous) panes of glass.

Each one of those guys is coming out, apparently.

A cool feature: an actual bell on the interior of the door, which can be run from the outside.

Detail.

Liz has been really excited to work on this door for some time, now.

Hardware removed.

Glass removal, beginning. There are so many, they need to be numbered.
