Hidden Bunny

I know, I know. This is a terrible photo. But I took it from a distance, without a flash and without any other light, zoomed in from my back porch. Because I opened the door around 11PM, and noticed a small bunny shape in the distance.

Despite the cold, Liz and I have often cracked the kitchen door open late at night, just to catch a little fresh air before going to bed. And recently, we’ve spotted some late-night visitors that we’ve never had before.

This guy was particularly… big? I did wonder if this could be Harold, but that’s an awful lot of weight to have put on, in a short time. But perhaps it’s been a bad pandemic year for everyone, bunnies and humans included. I know that I wasn’t making the best of food choices.

We’ve seen instances where there have been more than one bunny back here, which I find hilarious and charming. I look forward to our backyard becoming the next hot nightclub, on the bunny rabbit circuit. I think they must have appreciated the lighting upgrade, from a few weeks back. Because the kids are apparently showing up to party.
