Bob’s Birthday: Brewery Tour in Northern Indiana
Liz and I met up with at Katie and Tim’s lake house, where Julie and Bob were spending the weekend. We had a big afternoon of local breweries to visit, as part of Bob’s birthday celebration.
To start things off, a champagne toast.
First stop: Harry Stuff Brewing Company.
A small flight of beers, that Liz and I shared. I was pretty reserved for the day, given the fact that I was one of the drivers. A few tastes, here and there for me – but I got used to that after our Scotland trip.
Group photo with our flights, folks checking out the menu.
A big draw to the place: hand made empanadas.
A view of the space. I’m not sure what it was, but in my mind I could see this room transforming several times, as more and more people learned of it.
We also learned there was outdoor seating, and a forested area where one could go on a stroll with their beer. Something to look forward to, in warmer weather.
I missed photos at our second stop (may have to go over our notes). Didn’t end up taking any photos at the second place.
We headed a bit further North for our next brewery – in Goshen. Along the way, we passed several Amish buggies heading to/fro.
Outside Goshen Brewing Company.
Picking out our flights.
There was quite the selection.
Our flights came with some very cool hardware.
Fast forward to the last stop: Hoplore Brewing Company.
