Peter Talisman: Lord of the Harvest

This website is an interesting… I’m not sure what you would call it. Game? Album? Experience? All of the above?

It wasn’t clear to me at first what was going on, but I eventually got there after clicking around (the text at the top of the window provides hints on what to do).

It took me a few attempts before I realized that the interactivity was based around an actual album. Which, if you don’t care for the game/experience, you can listen to directly here.

I was drawn in by the game initially, and though I didn’t finish it on my first try… I kept coming back. One thing I wish is that it saved your progress, but no such luck. So fair warning: if you start, you’re going to want to allot about 30-40 minutes to get all the way through.

Especially if you have completionist tendencies (and this site really brought it out in me).

My older Macbook Pro didn’t really do well with this game, and weirdly I had to switch from Chrome to Firefox to actually play it. And things got super sluggish towards the end. But my laptop is from 2015, so your mileage may vary if you have a newer machine.

I wouldn’t go so far to say that I loved this site or the music, but I definitely got lost. And lost some time. And suggest you do as well.
