Christmas in Chicago

Back in Chicago, Liz and I had a quiet and subdued Christmas to ourselves. We exchanged gifts at the table in the living room, and had a slow night to ourselves.

Of interest/note: we got one another carpentry books. Somewhat un-prompted. I got her two books on cabinet making, and she got me a book on building workbenches.

It was a large house because we were people with big plans.

Part of my gift to Liz: three different bottles from Darkness, a bottler that specializes in Sherried Octave casks.
