Redline VR with Grace and Jackson
In a slight twist this year, Liz’s dad’s family is visiting us in Chicago for the holidays. Talking, Liz and I decided that an outing with just Grace and Jackson would be a fun time (and would allow Kirt and Anne a bit of alone time).
For our event, we decided on Redline VR, a favorite spot of ours.

Surprisingly, Grace has already tried VR… but Jackson hadn’t. Given his love of video games, I would have figured this was something he’d already done. But we got to give him his first taste of VR.

Liz, getting set up.

Grace, giving Fruit Ninja a whirl.

Jackson actually handled Richie’s Plank Experience brutally and efficiently. No big deal. He didn’t freak out in the slightest, and just walked out and back in like it was nothing. It was impressive to watch.

Afterwards, we got some pizza delivered to their hotel room. And then spent the rest of the night catching up a bit and opening gifts. I didn’t think to take any photos of our Christmas, but we had plenty of pizza and cookies and wine to go around.
