Found Elmo
Liz and I have tried to start a routine of taking a walk, after work. We’ve attempted this a bit in the past, but it never quite stuck around to become habit.
I think we both have realized we need a bit more motion in our lives. We spend an inordinate amount of time sitting in front of our computers. And with us being so fully remote, there’s no commute to actually speak of.

We took a trek down 55th, around Nichols Park. And on the way home, spotted Elmo just kind of… hanging out. I’m still not quite sure what to make of this: whether he got here of his own volution, or if he’s been strung up here after some street toughs accosted him.
The light was nice, and the background seemed ideal for a photo. Perhaps instead of imagining him being left on his own, I should think of him like a muppet Alain Robert. Just happy to climb, and taking a break on his way up.
