A Visit to City Escape

After several days of sitting at the computer, both Liz and I decided to step away for an outing. And leave our desks, and go be around some plants for a bit. We headed over to City Escape on the North Side, and just wandered around for a bit there.

On walking in, a lovely display.

Some pig.

Seeing these caught my eye. And reminded me of my friend Ann.

The whole space is incredibly well curated. Small collections of objects, small spaces perfectly themed.

Of course, they had bunnies. Liz was particularly fond of the chonker there, in the middle.

I paused at this collection of birdhouses, and got lost for several minutes… wondering how one might go about recreating these, with a 4x post and maybe a router.

I was shaken out of my reverie by this fine fellow, looking for pets.

On our way out, we spotted two rabbit guardian statues. I give it a 40% chance that these end up in our back yard, within the next five years.

On the way home.
