Suddenly, Rats

I was downtown today, and as I was walking to pick up my lunch… I spotted a group of people on the corner of Washington and Dearborn.

It took me a minute, but I realized it was writers protesting, as part of the WGA strike.

And then, to the side, I noticed the rats.

Lots of folks across the street were also taking photos.

Turns out, the rats were from other unions who showed up in solidarity to the WGA. It was the International Union of Operating Engineers (Local 150).

And also the Sheet Metal Workers (Local 73). And got a confirmation from Bob later on that this was, in fact, his union.
