An Unexpected Crowd

Some days, I’ll end up driving to work instead of taking the Metra. I park at a nearby garage that’s a short walk to my office.

Today was a bit different, as I got in earlier than normal… and snagged a spot on one of the lower levels (I usually park higher up in the garage). On walking to the car, I was surprised to see a small crowd on the other side of the parking lot windows.

I threw me for a loop, before I realized… oh, it’s actually the Loop. And folks were there waiting for the next CTA train.

A very surreal experience, seeing humans where you don’t expect humans to be.
