Travel Day, Chicago to Detroit
Liz and I headed out to Detroit after work, looking to do an early Christmas with her dad’s family. We had plans to leave at 5 (with us leaving work a bit early to gathering our things)… but I think we still were a bit delayed.
Stopping for dinner at a Chick-Fil-A along the way, we both noticed this large table near where the line to the register began. We were both pretty taken with the placard, and with the message behind the table.
A silly moment, which Liz was able to capture while I Was driving. It’s only going to make sense to me, and the folks I work with at Grubhub. But still, pretty funny thing to spot.
We rolled into Detroit some time after 10:30 or so, local. The time change is brutal, and tends to leave us arriving pretty late in the evening. No snow this year, so that’s a plus.
