Jawbox: Savory

Looking over my top songs from 2024, I’m surprised to find that Savory (by Jawbox) is really high up on the list. Like… really high up there. I had no idea.

To be honest, I don’t know Jawbox very well. The song is part of my college years, and clearly something that I associated with that era of my life. But I couldn’t tell you much about the group, beyond this one song.

I assume nostalgia brought me to this track, and I looped it incessantly. So much so that it wound up really high on the list of songs I played in 2024.

Nostalgia, indeed. I’m certain I clicked “play” and disappeared into this song for a few hours, while working.
