Shopping for Class at Owl Lumber

Liz and I are taking another class at the Chicago School of Woodworking. Over the weekend, we stopped in at Owl Lumber to pick out some of our materials for the class.

We debated on some of the various types of wood, but based on pricing (and our approach that this would still be “practice” and not final pieces)… we landed on White Oak.

Doing a bit of math, trying to figure out what lengths to cut so that we each had enough… but that each piece would also fit in our car.

Rearranged, and packed up. And we were able to both ride up front, to boot!
