Travel Day: Chicago to Whitehall
Travel day, from Chicago to Whitehall. It’s not quite a big Thanksgiving trip, more of a quick weekend visit to try to spend time with the kids before they head off to college.
I say kids, but that’s just reflexive. Jackson’s headed off to Lafayette College, and Grace is headed to the University of Tennessee.
Not really kids anymore.
Nothing big on the drive – it’s a bit of a slog, but we use it to talk about big topics. Doing the drive on a Thursday evening, so that we can get there a bit early for a longer weekend.
