I participated in 20×2 Chicago, where 20 artists were given 2 minutes each to answer the question: Who Knew?
For my presentation, I opted to do a video combining Flickr and Twitter. I started by searching Twitter for the phrase who knew, but had some restrictions: no replies or RT’s, no links or images. Then, after I found an appropriate match, I only used words from that post to search on Flickr (limiting myself to CC-licensed images).
I had a blast working on the video, and exploring some of the interesting (and surprising) intersections and coincidences that arose. I also had the good fortune to get permission from guitarist Erik Mongrain to use his song as the soundtrack! You can see additional photos and videos from my post about the event.
