After work tonight, Liz and I relocated a lot of material… elsewhere. We’ve got the flooring guys coming in a matter of days, and we needed to remove as much excess material (leftover drywall, plywood, wood) as possible.

Worked on the house a bit tonight, after work. I was upstairs, getting insulation around some pipes while Liz was adding insulation to the walls in the first floor bathroom (and along the basement stairs).

Spent Saturday doing a little more work on the house. While Liz was cleaning up the first floor bathroom (vacuuming debris and taking out nails), I was busting out the exterior wall along the stairs that lead to the basement. First Floor Bathroom, Demo Continues

Demo is one thing I feel most comfortable doing, as I’ve gotten the most practice with it. But given the tight quarters, I’ve been moving a lot slower – taking my time to throw things into a nearby trashcan instead of just dumping everything on the ground. Fitting a ladder and a trashcan and a person into a small, half bathroom involved a lot of moving around and squeezing by things.
