Liz and I spent a slow, lazy day out and about today. It’s been a long while since we’ve done someting like this, taking it easy on a weekend day. It was strange – at a few points, I had to remind myself that we were in no rush. We had nothing to do, nowhere…
I’m throwing out Wild Kingdom as a reference, but I wonder how many folks seeing this actually remember the show. I have a fuzzy recollection of it in the early 80’s, back when Mutual of Omaha was a sponsor (and part of the show’s title).
I was out running, and spotted this guy out of the corner of my eye.

I first came across these two way back in 2005 (a year before YouTube was a thing). I’m certain every episode I saw was done in Flash (RIP).
On seeing this video, I didn’t realize/remember there were multiple stories. I recall “Cake Dance” for the viral earworm that it is… but had forgotten everything that came after.
At best, this is a fish exchange rate game – whereby I’m trying to amass a larger portion of fish through various trades with the cats. I’m slowly building up to getting more gold fish, with the hope that I can expand my yard. And from there, I guess I’ll be… servicing more cats?
While Justin is away visiting the west coast, I’m checking in on his two new kittens: Quasar and Ignatz (Quasie and Iggy for short). As you can probably imagine, they were incredibly cute and I had a blast playing with them and hanging out. This is Iggy, who was really affectionate right off the bat….
