When I found out about the game in 2008, I learned that there were only a small number of physical game machines available. In order to play it, you had to find one of these guys. I recall emailing the company ages ago, but could never track down a machine or a way to play the game.

So I got tagged for Jury Duty today (well, for the selection process anyways). When you’re summoned for the selection process, there’s a number you have to call, to see if you’re officially supposed to show up or not. You can’t call this number until 4:30 PM, the day prior to when you’re supposed to show. When I called yesterday, they wanted people with last names D through S, which is… a pretty huge range, to me. But since I fell into the net, I was slated to show up.

Last weekend, I was in the mood for a new game for my iPad. I browsed around and downloaded Where’s My Water? (which made the Best of 2011 on jayisgames.com, in the Physics category). I’ve been using it without any kind of case/cover, and it’s been fine. But I’m incredibly ginger with it, and whenever I carry it somewhere other than the bedroom… I treat it like an egg I’m balancing on a spoon.
I’d like a bit of protection in case I ever drop the thing, but I don’t need anything as hardcore as a G-Form case. I’m mostly interested in a case that would allow me to tilt the iPad on a number of angles (low incline for easier browsing/typing, standing upright either horizontally or vertically).

One of the things I’ve really liked with my new iPad is reading comics. I’ve downloaded both the Marvel Comics and DC Comics iPad apps, both of which have a set of “free” comics you can download.
Maybe I haven’t looked hard enough, but I only see individual issues available through DC, whereas I can buy whole collections through Marvel. I’ve long been a fan of buying bound editions, versus going issue by issue (I prefer a massive binge over a slow, steady drip).

It’s a bit cumbersome, and I tend to have about 20 more typos per minute, buti’m writing this from my new iPad! I’m sitting at New Wave Coffee, sipping on a bottomless mug. Honestly, I don’t know that I can see doing blog posts in this manner very often. The typing is tedious, and mine tends to be rife with…
