One of the first booths we encountered was Somewhere in Time. There were a large number of necklaces on display, and the vendor went into a great story about how these were discovered in a warehouse in the Czech Republic.
In meeting new folks, I got to chat with some really fun people. I met Mena, who used to be part of a bar trivia team with Meg. I told her about Mystery League and learned she was really into crime and detective shows. She brought up Serial, which I’ve been listening to (and I was playing Episode 1 for Liz, on our way over).
Liz was up super late last night, trying to get her cardigan finished in time for an early photo shoot with Meg and Michelle. How late you might ask? She was working until 4AM, and hadn’t quite yet finished.
For Memorial Day, we ended out to visit Michelle and Mike at their new house. We arrived to find a lot of guests, a lot of dogs, and tons of great food set up out back.
On Sunday, I trekked over to the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool with Liz and met up with Michelle, Mike, and Meg for some photos. The girls had all been working on knitting the same cardigan, and as is traditional… got together to take photos of their completed work.
Early Saturday morning, Liz and I headed over to the Lincoln Park Conservatory to do a quick photo shoot. But today’s session was to be a little different – instead of it just being Liz, we were meeting up with Meg and Michelle (and Michelle’s husband, Mike).
