Failing to Reward the Industrious

Spotted this guy on my car, early in the morning circa 7:00 AM. I pulled in late last night, and over what seems like a small number of hours… this small guy created this large bit of work. Which I then promptly destroyed, as I drove off to get my morning coffee. The way of the world, I suppose. But…

Not in a Rush

Most days, I tend to be worried about getting to work on time. But after the talk, I hung back a little and opted to wait until others got off the train. I was fighting muscle memory in some aspects, but it also felt like the right thing to do.

An Official US Flag Disposal Box

And more than that, I began thinking about how long someone must have or own a flag, to have given it such use, that its age and state was such that it would require destruction. Unnecessary Complexity

I’m no expert on password security, but this seems to be… unnecessarily complex. I needed to hop onto the store’s WiFi to respond to a request, and on asking what the password was, this was plopped down in front of me.

Storefront Construction

It was curious to both me and Liz that the windows were taken out, as part of whatever’s going on. Maybe it had nothing to do with constrcution, and was just easier to move some equipment in this way? Either for the work or for the future business?
