Second Floor Closet Demo

I was working from home (we’ve switched to doing early morning deploys at work, and I was handling our 8:00 AM deploy today). A nice benefit for me was I could quickly change into my work clothes at the end of the day, and get right into demo work.

Well, eventually. After I put up a lot of plastic to prevent the rooms from getting all dusty. But soon after that prep, I was able to remove a lot of studs defining the second floor hallway closet.

Dining Room Demo

After work, Liz and I had a small house night. While I was working upstairs clearing out the bathroom closet, she was downstairs doing demo in the dining room.

Repairing the Basement Furnace Walls

We got a really late start today, but Liz and I got into the basement around 1PM to do some house work. Bob took out the furnace for us, exposing this back wall that’s one of the last spots where we need to touch up with concrete and Drylock paint.

Demo and Cleaning

From the weekend until now, between the house work, yard work, and normal errands we’ve had… it’s felt pretty busy. Looking forward to taking a night off soon, just to recuperate a little.

Clearing the Parkway

With all the road work that happened last year, the city works put in a ton of sand and also hydroseeded all the parkways. We didn’t stop them in time and as a result, had a lot of grass beginning to grow everywhere.

Parkway Planning

Ever since the city did all the road work along our street last year, our parkway has suffered. We had a large chunk of it disturbed, dug up, and the city ended up spraying some kind of hydroseed thing to re-grass the areas.
