Elevating Radio: Emmis Interactive on the Cover of Radio Ink

Earlier this week, Deb and Rey were featured on the cover of Radio Ink – one of the bigger trade publications for the Radio industry.

In addition to the cover, there was a pretty great feature article done on them, and on our company, Emmis Interactive. And in addition to THAT, we also had several print ads that featured CEOs from our clients, talking about our company/product. All in all, a pretty huge milestone for us (and a strong portent of things to come).

I can’t emphasize how proud I feel, seeing this. Proud of Rey and Deb, proud of all the people I work with, all my coworkers and colleagues. Reading through the article, it’s exciting to see people discuss the very things our teams are doing, day to day.

Additionally, the photographs used in the magazine (and for the cover) were taken by Stu, back when he was visiting us last month. For the print campaign, Stu was also the photographer who flew out to get images of all the CEOs in our ads.

There’s a huge group effort feeling behind all of this, and seeing something like this helps put a lot of things into context for me… in terms of where we are, in our industry. It also reminds me a lot of how far we’ve come, back when we were a much smaller group, tucked into a back room at a radio station.

Good company, good people – good stuff. The people I work with are tops, and I simply can’t imagine being anywhere else.
