Wandering
I didn’t get done with other things at work until around noon. I took off and, thinking about my trip to Columbus today (err.. tomorrow), I stopped in at Artisan to buy some cheese. Daniel let me taste one that I liked a lot (called Zamorano – a cheese from Spain, made from sheep’s milk). I’ve never purchased a lot of cheese before, so he suggested about a pound for 5-7. He put a big chunk on the scale, and indicated that I might want half as much. "Nah," said me. I’ll take that whole thing.
In retrospect, purchasing a two-pound block of cheese now seems like WAAAAAY too much cheese. But gimme a break – I was operating on about three hours sleep as of last Wednesday.
I took the train home, and wandered around my neighborhood for a while. I stopped in at Blockbuster and got a few movies. I walked to the Reckless at got a ton of CD’s for the drive.
In fact, I kept trying to fall asleep for the early part of the afternoon/evening, but my brain was having none of it. Finally, around 8 PM, I start nodding off.
