Every Few Weeks

Every few weeks, an ambulance shows up at the front door to the Merchandise Mart. I’m never sure who it’s for, whether someone inside the building has had an emergency, or if it’s for some of the homeless folks who seem to hover around the exterior of the building.

From the office, we can typically see down to the ground when ambulances swing by, and we often see the lights reflecting off the windows up on the second floor.

It’s weird (and a little unnerving) to see something like this outside your workplace. I think at times, I forget how big the Mart really is.
