Moment of Cellphone Appreciation

As you may recall, my friend Matt recently became the best Barista in the United States. I forgot that, today, Intelligentsia was opening up a new store on Randolph… and Matt would be there, serving coffee to customers.

Around 4 PM, I headed towards the Brown Line with Chris, hoping to catch Matt before he left. Right as the train pulled up, Matt sends me a text message, letting me know that he’s already back at the office… but that he’ll be serving coffee at the new store, next Tuesday.

Close one, as we were almost about to board the train. Score one for the cellphone.
