AT&T Dislikes Me

As some of you know, I recently purchased some software that allows me to turn my iMac into an answering machine. I’ve asked some of you to help me test it, and so far it’s working as it should.

Well… I’ve neglected to change the message since then, and so every call that comes in hears that “test” message still. Including AT&T, who called me today to let me know my phone line was up and running again (it crapped out on me yesterday). When I first heard this message, I started cracking up – mostly because the AT&T operator is stifling her laughter at the start.

Remember – she selected “Dislike.”

My phone should still be set up, in case anyone wants to call. Seven seven three three nine four two zero one seven.
