Emmett, making his way through the crowd. Poor guy – a bit later on, as he was dancing to some music (below), he ended up getting knocked down (and almost trampled) by someone who was dressed up as a rather frightening-looking Cupid. He shook it off like the champ he is, and got on with the rest of the evening without further incident.

I have no real idea what this is. During halftime, two people were racing. In gerbil bubbles.

This is a group called Fausto Scorpions. No clue what the name might mean, but an interesting acrobatic act. At one point in the show, they got a kid to volunteer from the audience.

This is, quite possibly, the best freaking thing I’ve seen in Chicago. Ever.
