New Portable Drive

A few years ago, I purchased my first LaCie portable drive, so that I could have all my files (both personal and work-related) on my person at any given time. That first drive was great to have around, and I can’t imagine not having it with me, at all times.

In the past few months though, I’ve noticed the free space on that old drive running low, and decided to purchase a new one. This new drive is 100 gigs, and at least half the weight. On top of that, it’s pretty svelte and looks slick!

I haven’t had a chance to do a transfer of all my files onto this thing yet. Work’s been busy, and I don’t expect to have much free time until Wednesday (which is the deadline for my current project). So… it’ll have to wait until then, sadly.

But on the plus side – I’ve got more than twice the storage capacity with this new drive. The old one was a 40GB drive… this one is 100GB. Woot!
